Is your iPhone being 'EVILLY SCREWED'!!! (Video)

"Apple chose different new fastener, guaranteeing repair tools would be both
rare and expensive!!!
Shame on them!"

You better check if your iPhone got these screws!

Normal old iPhones had the normal Phillips screws (+ shaped) but the newly created ones do have the pentalobe screws.
These PENTALOBE screws are more like the normal Torx except that it has five rounded shape points instead of six (as shown below).

These screws first appeared as a fastener for the MacBook Pro's battery in the mid-2009, where you had to buy a totally new one instead of just replacing the battery with a newer one.
After a while, the 2010 MacBook Air had these screws on the lower case to prevent any access to the internals.
And nowadays, many non-US and new US iPhones 4 are being shipped with the pentalobe screws. Not allowing people INSIDE their iPhones, even if it was just for fixing it.

All three pentalobe screws are not of the same size though! (as shown below!)

BEWARE
Kyle Wiens, iFixit's CEO, also mentioned if you had a Phillips screws in your iPhone and you took it to the Apple stores for repair. The employees would just simply replace your screws with the evil ones.

Does this mean no more transparent cases?!?
Answer is NO WAY!!

As that's not a big deal now, as iFixit are selling the Freedom of your iPhone for just $9.95!
Though the pentalobe screws may be 'screwed up', which is what we all want, so the kit has Phillips's screws and two screwdrivers (Pentalobe's and Phillips')!!
