Theme It, a new jailbreak tweak will be available via Cydia soon. This tweak would put your themes in one place instead of Winterboard and as the official site reports, it will be available for all jailbreak users soon as a Cydia package. What makes Theme It unique, it allows you to separate all these available themes out into their own dedicated “platform”. It will be similar to Cydia store but will feature themes only.
Check out the embedded video below and what the developers say:
A carefully designed platform (application and website) allowing focus on high-quality themes and also the artists behind the themes in a way that wasn’t possible before… it’s the Theme Store you’ve been dreaming of using.
With some of the best theme creators already on-board we can guarantee you’ll have access to amazing and exclusive content in an environment that’s sure to meet everyone’s needs. Focusing on high-quality, complete themes, the goal of Theme it isn’t to have a million themes in the gallery… but the best ones available.
The platform includes a very user-friendly website and an iPhone/iTouch application to showcase and distribute the themes with instant access to the information you really want, such as screenshots, details, compatibility and much more. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn a little more about the artists that create the themes you love and use. A section will be dedicated to these wonderful designers.
Stay tuned for the release soon!

Icon Renamer is a new Cydia tweak that allows you to easily rename your iPhone app icons directly from Springboard. The tweak developed by Cydia developer Ryan Petrich and it's totally free.
Once installed, simply tap and hold to enter jiggle mode, then tap the icon you want to rename as shown in the screenshot below. What I like in this tweak that it doesn't install a new app in your Springboard or place an icon in the settings app.
Icon Renamer can be found in Cydia via BigBoss repository for free. Also check our
Cydia tweaks gallery for more must-have and useful Cydia tweaks that enable functions Apple has missed ! That's why we do a jailbreak !
This is a very handy tweak for iPad users since the iPad can run iPhone apps in compatibility mode but when an iPhone app is blown up to 2x mode, the graphics become fuzzy. Even the app's got Retina-Display-ready graphics on iPhone, it'll still pix-elated on the iPad.
However, RetinaPad fixes this problem and it works awesome on any app that's got Retina-Display-ready graphics. You need a jailbroken device so you can access Cydia and install it. Once installed, launch your iPhone app and tap on 2x then you'll really notice that the app looks clean. Check the below screenshot, it works great on Facebook for iPhone app and most of the iPhone apps:
RetinaPad is available in Cydia Store at $2.99 via BigBoss repository. You can use
Redsn0w to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 on iPad.

Are you tired of the App Store closing everytime you download an app? It becomes a real pain when you need to download multiple apps, right? Well now you can prevent it from closing with a new
Cydia tweak called StayOpened.
StayOpened is basically a tweak that allows you to prevent the App Store from closing. This is extremely useful when you're trying to download multiple apps at the same time. Opening and closing the App Store is always so annoying. Why not just download all your apps at once and just close our when you want to?
Once you download StayOpened, you can toggle it from the settings app on your iDevice and you can also change the the text of the downlad button in the App Store as shown above (Ftw :D!).
StayedOpened is a free tweak and is available via the ModMyi repository.
Apple has been working hard to try to make the Mac App Store possible. Now,
Saurik the creator of Cydia app store for iOS devices has announced that he is going to bring Cydia for the Mac!
According the
TUAW,
Saurik made this astonishing announcement at 360|MavDev giving an overview of his upcoming Cydia for MAC OS X, Cycript, and Cydia Substrate.
Currently, Cydia Installer has been used by about 10% of all iPhone users, or about 10 million devices. There are well over 30,000 packages available for iOS, and a lot of open source material can be downloaded from Cydia. He refers to Cydia as a store for things that are not apps, but extensions of what iOS devices can do.
Freeman felt that the same type of store would be useful for Mac OS X devices; the result is a Mac Cydia, which will be available "within weeks." With today's news that the Mac App Store will not support in-app purchases, something that is critical to the freemium app model that is so successful in the iOS world, a Mac Cydia might be just the web store for a number of Mac developers.
This is a very huge advance for the jailbreak scene. Not only will there be jailbroken iDevices, now it's being expanded for Mac! This will be out within weeks! Any developers interested in trying to get their app into Cydia for Mac is always free to contact Patrick at saurikit.com

ListLauncher is a new
tweak for the iPhone and iPod touch developed by the well-known developer chpwn! It adds a list of all your apps to the Spotlight screen, allowing you to
quickly find an app by name, not by icon. It doesn't just replace Spotlight, though. They work together so you can use both ListLauncher and Spotlight to find what you want, when you want it and very fast!
ListLauncher is available in Cydia store and can be purchased for just $0.99. You need to jailbreak your device to enjoy using this tweak, so you can follow our guide
posted here to jailbreak
iOS 4.2.1 or use
Limera1n for iOS 4.1 jailbreak.

A new Cydia tweak has been released today that allows your iOS device to stream recorded video from your photos or camera roll to your Apple TV! This tweak, called
Air Home Video, is a standalone app that allows the user to stream any recorded video from the app.
Here is the official release note of
Air Home Video:
Air Home Video can play any video in your Photos app, Camera Roll on iPhone and Saved Photos on iPad included. What’s great about Air Home Video is that you can then stream your videos to a new Apple TV 2G using AirPlay.
You can now shoot a video on your phone, and without syncing it to your computer or hooking up to wires you may play it to network connected Apple TV 2G.
You can trim down videos to only view a portion of it. You can also select Low or High Quality streams. Low will compress quicker, but will, of course be a lower quality of video than High.
Enjoy your home videos as soon as they have been shot. They are, after all, yours; play them how you want, and where you want.
Air Home Video is available through Cydia store via the BigBoss repository for $0.99. This is a must have app for your jailbroken devices! Enjoy your home-made videos from the moment you finish recording them!
Of course you need a jailbroken device to install this app so you can follow our guide
posted here to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 or use
Limera1n for iOS 4.1 jailbreak.

iSHSHit is a new
Cydia utility that allows you to save SHSH blobs directly from your iphone, iPod touch or iPad itself, without the need to use a desktop application such as
TinyUmbrella.
This new Cydia tweak is pretty simple to use. Basically, you just make sure that the information you want saved are correct and press save. It should prompt you by downloading the SHSHs. What iSHSHit basically does next is that is opens up to a new mail page sending the attachments to any e-mail account you want.
Technically, once you press save, the SHSH blobs are already saved, but you can also send them via email to another inbox for more permanent keeping, cool, eh?
iSHSHit is a free Cydia tweak and you need a jailbroken device to install this app so you can follow our guide
posted here to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 or use
Limera1n for iOS 4.1 jailbreak. I really recommend this app to save your SHSH blobs since is convenient, fast, and easy! I'm sure saving SHSH blos won't consume too much time out of your day. All it takes is 3 seconds! Who knows, maybe if your device's firmware corrupts, you can restore to the same firmware and keep your jailbreak. This is a must have for any jailbreaker.
In our
last post, we told you that
GraviBoard will bring Gravity to your iOS device, and here we go. Ever wanted to let your apps float on your springboard? Now you can with the new release of Graviboard. Graviboard is a
Cydia tweak that allows your apps to float in different sets of gravity. The preset ones are
Earth,
Moon, and
Zero Gravity. Graviboard also comes with a custom gravity so you can set the gravity to your liking.
This tweak is for users who are looking for a little bit more fun out of their springboard. To use Graviboard, just go to settings and change the toggles on target="_blank"and off. You can even set a toggle via activator.
Graviboard for now is a pretty simple jailbreak tweak. There aren't that many features yet, but I'm sure it will expand and continue to update for more features. Some of the cons of Graviboard is that you cannot keep the apps with no gravity on when you launch apps. This is also limited because you cannot apply Graviboard to folders and scroll to other pages.
To enjoy this tweak, you need a jailbroken iOS device, you can use our guide
posted here to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 or use
Limera1n for iOS 4.1 jailbreak. Graviboard is available in Cydia for $2.99 via BigBoss repository, believe me, it's awesome!
Friday, December 3, 2010
That's awesome but it's not released yet. GraviBoard is a brand new Tweak in the works right now by
conradev that will be available in Cydia soon, once activated it will make the icons lose gravity ! The developer has no word on release date yet and they says that it is still a little buggy and is getting worked on. Below is a video of it in action.
This tweak will be really awesome and I will be one of the first users who get this tweak. If you really had a jailbroken iOS device, this would be such an awesome prank! More updates as they come. Stay tuned !
[via 9to5mac]UPDATE 1: The tweak is now available in Cydia and can be purchased for $2.99 from Cydia Store. Check our review for this awesome app
here.
CallLock is really
handy tweak that locks your iPhone screen during a phone call to prevent from accidentlly pressing buttons that may dial, hold, or hangup a phone call by mistake. This tweak is very useful for iPhone 4 users who have a faulty proximity sensor in their devices.
To enjoy this tweak, your device must be jailbroken on iOS 4.x, follow our guide
posted here to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 or use
Limera1n iOS 4.1 jailbreak. Once jailbroken, navigate to Cydia and purchase
CallLock for $0.99 from the Cydia Store.
CallLock will override the default action of Power button during a call to lock the screen instead of the normal end call action. You can also enable CallLock automatically from inside your Seetings app so that no new icons will be added to your home screen and will automatically lock your screen as soon as a incoming or outgoing call is connected. So, does this handy tweak really solves proximity sensor woes in iPhone 4?

Phone GV Extension is a new
Cydia tweak that allows your phone to natively use Google Voice to call. This is not a standalone app. Phone GV Extension seamlessly integrates
Google Voice into the native iPhone app which gives Google Voice calling capabilities of both Google Voice dialing methods, Direct Dial mode, and Call back mode. Phone GV Extension is also compatible with iOS 4.2.1.
With the extension, phone calls are then rerouted to Google Voice with just a click of a button. The extension also conveniently provides a section in the app settings to edit information and dialing rules. You can set each separate number to use different modes before calling to your phone.
Best of all, Phone GV Extension also provides real recipient caller ID's. These are displayed natively through the phone app in your iPhone. There is also a button to check information and billing inquiries.
Phone GV Extension ix available in Cydia for $2.99 after a 5 day trial to test out its features. Enjoy your Google Voice natively! Also check out SMS GV Extension!

As most of you know, the mail app on your iOS device requires you to go back to the main screen of the app just to press the refresh button. With the help of a new
Cydia tweak, you can refresh your mail from anywhere in the app. Just like always, anything that uses system changes requires a jailbreak and Cydia.
To be able to use this tweak, you need a jailbroken device, you can jailbreak your iOS 4.x device using the latest version of Redsn0w by following our guide
posted here then simply follow the steps given below.
This Cydia tweak, called

Everybody’s loving iOS 4.2 for iPad: it brought multitasking to the tablet, folders, AirPlay (sort of) and, ehm, AirPrint. We have
already talked about this. As more users upgrade to the new iOS every day and
jailbreak it using the latest version of
Redsn0w, they need really a list of compatible
Cydia apps and tweaks.
MuscleNerd of the
iPhone Dev Team has
published a spreadsheet on Google Doc showing the compatible Cydia apps, you can navigate to
this link to check the list of apps & tweaks in Cydia compatible with iOS 4.2.1. If the color is green that means it works with no problems, if it's yellow it means that it have some problems. Any you know, red ones are unusable and not working. The list should be upgraded consequently when an app gets
iOS 4.2.1 compatibility.
