BOOM! AT&T decided to destory the $50 smartphone market by dropping the iPhone 3GS price down to the same level as Nokia communicators. Starting from tomorrow iPhone 3GS which was selling for $99 will now cost only $49 on contract.


Notice this pricing is just for AT&T as the carrier is dropping the price independently from Apple themselves. To get this $49 one, you will have to go to the nearest local AT&T store to grab one for the half price.
