No more books in Japan!!

With the existence of the iPad and such iDevices, there has been an explosion of start-ups, in Japan, offering consumers to turn their physical books to e-books as their living areas are so cramped!!

Japan has a large market for paper books and magazines worth $24 billion per year, which is the largest!!
Besides, the e-book market is just earning less than a billion dollar per year.

Book scanning was founded by Yusuke Ohki and Shinya Iwamatsu. Ohki said that his inspiration to start the business was his 2000 paper books which were crowding his small Tokyo apartment. As well as he added "the iPad's release is the biggest factor in making this business possible"

The main factor in making this idea work is the small living spaces in  Japan. Where the Japanese consumers have to chose the iPad to enable them to have thousands of books in such a small device!

In addition, Japan's laws allow copies within the family or for personal use, but any kinds of reproducing a purchased work such as Book Scanning should require the publishers' permissions. That's why the customer should tick a box to confirm not to Book Scan!!

However, a secretary of the Japan Book Publishers Association says
"There are more than 30 or 40 scanning companies, and huge amounts of books are scanned every day, so I can hardly believe all the scanning is LEGAL!!"

The easiness of switching to Verizon iPhone and backing up your stuff!! (Video)

Are you making the 'BIG SWITCH'!
Are you leaving AT&T, or moving from BlackBerry or Droid?!
Then you'll surely need to move your data or maybe look for ways to keep some of the functions you were used to!

The iPhone is surely popular and famous for its tranquility in its usage!
Though it can be stressful to leave a network and device you were comfortable with and get something new.
And thats the main thing we will talk about!

If you were an AT&T user and switching to Verizon, that will be an easy thing!
You will just need an iTunes back up.

However, if you're switching from BlackBerry or Droid, that will be bit longer!
Services like Gmail can help you get your contacts over(and provide push email, contacts and calendars.) and Apple apps like KIK and WAZE, and others as BBM and Google Navigation.

Enabling GROUP text messaging!

Ever wondered how to send a text message to several people and have their replies reach the whole group?!

This feature is known as "group messaging", where this setting controls whether or not the complete address list is sent to everyone in the group.

Enabling this feature is simple.
  1. Launch Settings
  2. Tap Messages
  3. Toggle "Group Messaging" to ON

When the group messaging is OFF in your device, each recipient will be unaware that anyone else received the same message. Though, if you have it ON but your recipient doesn't, then that recipient will not see the group list!

If you and the recipients have the group messaging enabled, then all the recipients will be displayed. And when any person replies, it will be sent to all members of the group.

All messages will be included in a single thread and the sender's names will be displayed above each other. (As shown below!)

If the the Group Messaging is enabled, the messages sent to the group will be billed as a single message!

Have fun Group Messaging!

P.S: Most probably this feature appears only at AT&T!
As it doesn't appear in Vodafone's AUS, nor O2's UK! (And maybe some other networks!)
Wondering!!..Will Verizon iPhone do it?!
