Apple has started approving some apps in the app stores which claims to be
iOS 4.3 compatible suggesting iPhone, iPad and iPod touch user shouldn't wait lomg for the new update.
Nextmag mobile for iOS has been updated to be compatible as well!
The new things in version 4.0 are:
- The last bug fixes and stability enhancements
- In-app registration
- The ability to synchronize searches and wishlists between Nextag mobile and any desktop computer
- Sing in to your account via Nextag or Facebook right in the app
- Compatible with iOS 4.3
iOS 4.3 beta 2 was released last week and beta 3 may be released this week!

As noted by
MacRumors that
Forbes has
confirmed with a trusted source that the publication of "
The Daily" will be formally announced on January 19th.
The Daily will be a new journal specifically for iPad only with Apple support.
Mark your calendars, media nerds. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011 is the day it all changes. Maybe.
That's the planned launch date for The Daily, the iPad-only publication News Corp. has been feverishly developing. The company has yet to say boo about it, and a spokesman declined to comment when I asked him about the launch date, which comes via a News Corp. insider.
It's now expected that Apple will release iOS 4.3 with the arrival of this electronic journal "
The Daily", as Apple has been said to be supporting The Daily with "recurring subscription payments" for iTunes accounts, this famous feature will only exist on the upcoming iOS 4.3. Anyway, let's wait and see. [

Two months ago, we
told you that there were a licensing issue between the creators of the open-source VLC platform and creators of the
VLC iOS application. Now Apple has removed the application from their App Store. One of the developers of VLC for iOS has announced that on
their blog:
At last, Apple has removed VLC media player from its application store. Thus the incompatibility between the GNU General Public License and the AppStore terms of use is resolved - the hard way. I am not going to pity the owners of iDevices, and not even the MobileVLC developers who doubtless wasted a lot of their time. This end should not have come to a surprise to anyone.

Actually, it's not a new tool, it's the well-know must have tool, TinyUmbrella.
Semaphore, the developer behind
TinyUmbrella, has started a new post regarding that he is working on a new and improved version of TinyUmbrella that will allow you to restore your iOS device without iTunes.
From what's being said on his
blog:
I've been working on a new and improved version of TinyUmbrella that will, among other things, allow you to restore your iDevice without iTunes. With the holiday season and work, this will take me a bit to get working the way I want it. I appreciate your patience and your support. You guys are awesome :) No ETAs yet but I'll post updates here and on twitter.
With this feature in TinyUmbrella, you won't need iTunes anymore and of course, this will bypass all errors while downgrading, updating, and may help with
preserving the baseband. We'll post updates as they come, stay tuned !
