iPad 2 and iPhone 5 All you Need to Know [Report]

It worth reading, a very interesting report posted last night by Joshua Topolsky, editor-in-chief of Engadget, reveals new details about Apple's next products scheduled for 2011. Talking about iPad 2, iPhone 5 and the next generation Apple TV. Engadget has a pretty solid track record with their Apple scoops and the details will surprise you.

The sources claims that iPad 2 will feature a higher resolution screen with Retina Display, the same as iPhone 4’s one. Couple of days back, Kevin Rose of Digg has revealed some information including that it will feature higher resolution screen without being Retina Display.

Engadget also reports that the iPad 2 will get a SD card slot, yeah, that big hole we’ve already seen in leaked cases. The iPad 2 is set to come out in April, won’t feature a USB port and will be “lighter”.

About iPhone 5! Engadget reports that the iPhone 5 will be a “completely re-designed handset,” and will feature Apple’s new CPU, A5. The iPhone 5 is on track for a summer launch and it’s being tested discreetly by senior staff at Apple. Both iPhone 5 and iPad 2 will feature a Qualcomm chipset that does triple duty as the CDMA / GSM / UMTS baseband processor.

Last and not least, Apple is working on the next generation of Apple TV, which will include the speedy A5 chip from the iPhone 5 and that the chip is powerful enough to bring 1080P video to Apple’s TV.

What do you think? Is that all gonna be real? Share us your ideas in the comment section below.

GEOHOT: I Wanna Drive Sony Crazy [Video]

As I reported earlier about the war between Sony and Geohot regarding the PS3  (PlayStation 3) jailbreak, few hours ago, Geohot appeared smiling on "Attack of the Show" (ATOS). Let's see Geohot speaking on the below embedded video.

Call of Duty 4 Download Available Mac App Store

Really I love this, since the Mac App Store launch, we've been seeing some great games and apps coming to the Mac OS X but this one is the best for me. Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare now available in the Mac App Store

What's interesting in the game is it's price, Call of Duty 4 is available at overpriced $49. This may be a sign of great things to come for the game very soon in the form of updates and more levels. The game seems really very great, go get it while it's hot from the link below.

Unlock iPhone 4 on 2.10.04 / 3.10.01 to Release After iOS 4.2.5 / 4.3 Official Release [Confirmed]

Some official unlock news, MuscleNerd, the well-known iPhone hacker, has just confirmed on his twitter that the dev-team will hold iPhone 4 basebands (2.10.04 / 3.10.01) unlock until iOS 4.2.5 or iOS 4.3 official release whichever is last.

Official iPhone unlock statement: no unlock will be released until after 4.2.5 or official 4.3 (whichever is last) is out
I know well that this news may be frustrating for most of you who are waiting eagrly for the unlock, but to be fair enough, it makes sense that they hold it as the release of iOS 4.3 for public looks imminent. More news as they come, stay tuned.

iPad 2 Camera.app [SCREENSHOTS]

We already told you that iPad 2 will get a camera or two cameras including Facetime's one. Earlier today, Apple intelligence 9to5mac has been tipped of with screenshots that's been assembled from files within the SDK of the iPad camera.app.

These screenshots are 1024 x 768 which indicate the same screen resolution as the current iPad. That might upset those hoping for more a retina-ish display in iPad 2. This may only be because the current simulator only simulates 1024 x 768 so those hoping for more pixels shouldn’t lose hope.
Check the screenshots below and tell us what do you think in the comment section below:

Comex's Untethered Jailbreak to Release After Verizon iPhone?

Yesterday we reported you about the last estimates for untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 from Comex the well-known iPhone hacker. Apparently he still hesitated about releasing it, as he started his reply to someone asked him about the timing with "I don't know"

i0n1c asking: so is not waiting for the next iOS for untethering?
Comex replying: I don't know, I think I'm waiting for the Verizon iPhone.
Till know Comex isn't able to give us an exact estimate for his long awaited untethered jailbreak, he may care about patching his jailbreak on Verizon iPhone 4 iOS 4.2.5, I think it's an acceptable excuse for Comex to let Verizon iPhone 4 users able to jailbreak their devices once they got it.

iOS 4.3 Brings 'Find My Friends' Feature

New amazing feature appears into the newly released iOS 4.3 beta 1, Macrumors has found a new features called "Find My Friends" , the founded strings are associated with the Setting app and is related to "MobileMe". But what will the feature do for me?

This feature will offer a location-based friend-finding service like Loopt and Google Latitued.
Services like Loopt allow you to find your friends who near you at any given time by leveraging your mobile phone's GPS signal. The constant updates can broadcast your location to your friends to know who is nearby. Obviously, these sort of systems are opt-in only, but shows what Apple maybe up to in fleshing out their MobileMe service. Steve Jobs wrote in an email in December that the MobileMe service will get "a lot better in 2011".
Obviously, this will not be the last Apple surprise on iOS 4.3, so expect more. Stay tuned.

Here's another confirmation that the upcoming iPad 2 will have a camera. The guys over 9to5mac was able to found some new secrets, they found four interesting files in the latest iOS 4.3 SDK confirming that iPad 2 will be equipped with camera.

You will notice the same shutter screen as found on the iPhone and iPod touch in addition to camera roll icons for videos and pictures. We opened up the camera shutter images and the size is 1024 x 768, which is the same resolution as the current iPad.
