The long-awaited app for Android fans,
Skype has just announced that it is now available for Android phones, The new app allow you to use all Skype platform features, making free Skype-to-Skype calls, sending and receiving IMs for free, you can also call mobile phones and land lines with Skype rates.
The Skype app can work over WiFi or 3G, but Skype recommend to run it throw WiFi to get the best performance. You can download Skype from the Android Market, or from Skype (link at the end) directly from you Android phone. It is required Android OS 2.1 or later, you can check your version by tapping
Settings > About.
Skype is not available in the Android Market in China or Japan.
Skype has been tested on HTC and Motorola devices with Android OS 2.1 and above. It may work on other Android phones, but we can’t guarantee full functionality or compatibility. We’re aware of some problems with the Samsung Galaxy S, and we’re looking to address these in the future.
It’s free to use Skype in a WiFi zone. If you use Skype with a mobile data connection, operator charges may apply, so we recommend an unlimited data plan.
In the US, Skype for Android phones works over WiFi only.
A fair use policy applies to unlimited subscriptions.

For first time,
Google is losing the war as users spend more time on
Facebook. According to fresh data from
comScore, users on the web spend more time on Facebook than Google, at the same time, Yahoo has begun to slide from the top to the bottom. As said, "If Google wasn't already scared of Facebook, this ought to do the trick."
At first, Yahoo was the first for lots of months, but this month, the changes are happening. The time spend on site don't mean the traffic, there's a big difference, of course, according to Alexa (some people considering it
useless), Google is #1 in the number of users who enter the site, but according to today's chart Google is #2 in the time spent on site for the first time. This referring to how successful is Facebook, companies will

According to rumors, the developers behind SkyFire, the popular mobile browser which supports Flash technology, which allows playback of
Flash content in web pages, could be landed on the iPhone next few weeks.
Following approval of
Opera Mini from Apple, SkyFire developers alomost finished the version for
iOS and they ccould send to Apple as early as next week, According to some sources, extremely reliable.
We will see if
Apple will approve another alternative browser to
Safari Mobile, particularly adding support for
Adobe's platform. What do you think? Would you like to have a browser that allows you to view flash content?

In the applications market, a comparison has been done between the
AppStore and
Android Market, the comparison revealed that on the Apple store there are a lot of applications needed a payment and those Android excel free ones.
Specifically, on AppStore 70% of apps need a payment , while 64% on Android Market is free. The reason is that many Android developers are still testing the market, perhaps by offering simple titles to download for free to test users interests.

Youtube now is the 3rd most visited website on the Internet! Today,
Youtube surpassed Yahoo for the 3rd spot on most visited sites on
Alexa. Of course, #1 is
Google and #2 is
Facebook but now Youtube has a great chance to get from Facebook and take the #2 spot.
