Rumor: SkyFire, Web Browser To View Flash Content On iPhone Next Week

According to rumors, the developers behind SkyFire, the popular mobile browser which supports Flash technology, which allows playback of Flash content in web pages, could be landed on the iPhone next few weeks.


Following approval of Opera Mini from Apple, SkyFire developers alomost finished the version for iOS and they ccould send to Apple as early as next week, According to some sources, extremely reliable.
We will see if Apple will approve another alternative browser to Safari Mobile, particularly adding support for Adobe's platform. What do you think? Would you like to have a browser that allows you to view flash content? [via techcrunch]

AppStore Vs. Android Market

In the applications market, a comparison has been done between the AppStore and Android Market, the comparison revealed that on the Apple store there are a lot of applications needed a payment and those Android excel free ones.


Specifically, on AppStore 70% of apps need a payment , while 64% on Android Market is free. The reason is that many Android developers are still testing the market, perhaps by offering simple titles to download for free to test users interests.

Finally, it's coming soon, Sergio Mclfy, the developer of iPhodroid has confirmed that he has managed to install iPhodroid on Windows and get it working! He posted that he scheduled to release it next week, will he really release it and next week? from his quotes,


Finally I see clear trough the window! Yeah, it's right, iPhoDroid hits the chance for Microsoft users to get a taste of the desirable Android Project. And on my schedule it's for next week. It will be in 1SHOT; 99% to be, at least from my head calculator. So, tell your friend because I need to get this intention more strong than never. Last week, we already told you that Camera+ has been pulled from the App Store as the developer has revealed a hack which enabled a feature called "VolumeSnap" that Apple rejected as it was against Apple’s iPhone Developer Program License Agreement. So here's a new app available in RockApp with less cost (you don't expect) and enables the same feature "VolumeSnap".


If you don't know "VolumeSnap" allows you to snap photos with volume buttons as a camera shutter button. The app is available in RockApp for only $0.99, If you like the idea of snapping photos with volume buttons then go ahead and buy it!

MakeItMine to Make Your Custom Carrier Name [Jailbreak Required]

Ultrasn0w 1.0-1 Released to Unlock iPhone 4 on Baseband 01.59.00

Planetbeing and MuscleNerd were working a lot the last few weeks to unlock our iPhone 4s on Baseband 01.59.00, they were waiting for comex's jailbreak to be released and it was released couple of days ago but there was some problems so the unlock was delayed! Now they just delivered the unlock and you can now free your iPhone 4 from AT&T Carrier with Ultrasn0w 1.0-1.

Note: For T-Mobile users, you have to Disable 3G Mode, Just touch on Settings --> General --> Network.
 
Step 1: You should have a jailbroken iPhone 4, you can follow the step by step guide to Jailbreak iPhone 4 posted here.
Step 2: After Jailbreaking, Navigate to Cydia Source by Going to Cydia --> Manage --> Sources.

Step 3: Touch on “Edit” and then on “Add”. Type "http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com" then hit "Add Source". Ultrasn0w will be added to your Cydia Source lists.
Step 4: After you install Ultrasn0w in your Cydia sources list, Search for "ultrasn0w 1.0-1" and install this app, and it will automatically unlock your iPhone 4.

JailbreakMe 2.0 was released two days ago, if you don't know about it then you don't have an iPhone, Whatever, most of you tried to install Cydia apps that you already knew, but it may work with iPhone 4 and may be not, if not, it may crash your device and lead to problems. Today, Planetbeing has dropped a new app in Cydia for iPhone 4, This app maps the cell towers you are connected to and displays detailed cellular information from the baseband, Of course you need a jailbroken iPhone 4 to install this app.

Camera + has been updated to new version 1.2.1 and the amazing thing that it brings ultra mega stability, a lot of improvements as the usability of Touch Exposure and Touch Focus features, various minor bug fixes and enhancements. By the way, it supports iPhone 4, Changelog below..
